About me
Dr Shyamal Raichura is a UK-trained Consultant Dermatologist registered with the GMC and is on the Specialist Register for Dermatology. He completed his medical training at the University of Bristol and dermatology training in Northern Ireland. After completing his training in dermatology, Dr Raichura worked in the NHS as a Consultant Dermatologist & Skin Cancer Advanced Surgeon (Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust). Dr Raichura led a skin cancer surgery multidisciplinary clinic, triaging patients to tailormade treatment plans. He also organised regular hands-on surgical training sessions for senior registrars.
Dr Raichura is a Consultant Dermatologist who sees and treats adults of all skin colour, for all skin conditions including: skin cancer, skin cancer advanced surgery, acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. Dr Raichura has a special interest in detection and treatment of skin cancer and is able to perform skin checks and skin cancer assessments. Dr Shyamal Raichura also specialises in cosmetic dermatology, including evidence-based commercial skincare, botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments.
Dr Shyamal Raichura understands that skin conditions have a significant impact on mood, sleep, work and personal relationships � so he recognises the importance of a compassionate and professional approach.
Dr Raichura performs minor surgery including steroid injections, cryotherapy, biopsies and excision of lesions (including skin on head and neck).
Dr Raichura is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, British Society of Dermatological Surgery and British Society of Medical Dermatology
