About me
Pat Smith has 25 years of experience as an NHS Clinical Psychologist, working extensively with adults and staff teams.
In therapeutic practice, Pat employs a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, stress and resilience training, interpersonal and relationship therapy, and trauma-focused EMDR therapies.
Pat has a particular interest and expertise in working with individuals experiencing depression, low mood, anxiety issues, low self-esteem and confidence, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and those overcoming trauma. Additionally, Pat has significant experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and trauma and supporting people who experience auditory hallucinations.
