About me
I am a UKCP-registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist. I trained in intercultural therapy with Nafsiyat Intercultural Therapy Centre and UCL Department of Psychiatry and Social Behaviours. I have been practising for 25 years in the NHS, the not-for-profit sector, and in private practice.
I work with you to try to make sense of whatever is troubling you and to think about strategies and ways of being that can help you going forward.
Areas of interest
I work with adults: anyone over 18 with no upper age limit. I work within a psychodynamic framework using insights from psychoanalysis, interpersonal neurobiology, trauma informed care, and the recovery approach.
My areas of special interest are working with:
Identity issues such as cultural or sexual identity, or becoming a parent:
Self-esteem issues, such as not feeling 'right' in yourself, not liking yourself, 'imposter syndrome';
Anxiety;
Experiences of abuse, whether physical, emotional or sexual, and including rape;
Work-related issues;
Relationship problems;

Gambling or porn addiction;
