About me

Dr. Lewis Raiman is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine, renowned for his expertise in the non-surgical management of sports-related and musculoskeletal injuries, including osteoarthritis. His career includes roles with prestigious sports organisations, including West Ham United FC, where he served as the Academy Doctor, and The FA, where he worked as a Performance Doctor. Dr. Raiman has also been involved with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) as a Wheelchair Tennis Doctor and provided care as a Track Cycling Field Doctor at the Commonwealth Games.

Dr. Raiman is committed to empowering his patients through education and collaborative decision-making. He provides thorough assessments of injuries and illnesses, utilising in-consultation ultrasound scans and arranging additional imaging, such as MRI or CT scans, when necessary. By carefully reviewing scans and investigations with his patients, he ensures they fully understand their conditions and works closely with them to develop tailored rehabilitation plans.

His approach to patient care includes close collaboration with a range of specialists, such as physiotherapists, strength and conditioning coaches, podiatrists, dieticians, and soft tissue therapists. When surgical intervention is needed, Dr. Raiman utilises his extensive network of top surgeons specialising in sports injuries to ensure his patients receive the best possible care.

Dr. Raiman completed his Higher Specialist Training in London and is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) as a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine. He offers private consultations across multiple locations in London, with both in-person and virtual appointments available. His dedication to applying elite sports medicine principles ensures that all patients, from elite athletes to fitness enthusiasts, receive exceptional and individualised care to help them achieve their physical best.
