About me
Felicity Taylor is a Consultant Paediatrician with over 17 years' experience in frontline NHS care. Felicity set up The Children's Clinic in 2024 as a way to bring world-class paediatric healthcare to her local community in the Hertfordshire area.
Felicity's NHS Consultant practice is at the world-renowned Evelina Children's Hospital in London, where she works in the specialist children's emergency department and children's short stay unit, diagnosing, treating and managing patients. She specialises in diagnosing and treating urgent and emergency conditions in patients from birth up to 17 years old.
From colic in babies to palpitations in teenagers, if your child is unwell Felicity works responsively to get them back to full health as quickly as possible.
As a mother of three young children, Felicity understands how worrisome and disruptive to family life an unwell baby, child or young person can be. She works in close partnership with families to provide them with the expert knowledge and reassurance they deserve.
Felicity is Clinical Governance lead for the children's emergency department and has a particular interest in improving patient care through improving communication between patients, families and staff. She is a trained 'speak up' advocate, natural listener, and skilled communicator and is passionate in improving the experience of healthcare for children and their families.
Felicity has experience working in National Healthcare Commissioning at NHS England, and in developing national standards for emergency care for children and young people at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).
