Areas of interest

I am a Chartered Psychologist with over ten years' experience in mental health. I have practised primarily in the NHS working with adults, children and young people who are in acute crisis, in inpatient settings and in the community. I have also been responsible for acting as an expert witness at Parole Hearings.

I have extensive experience working with a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Analytical Therapy and Schema Therapy. My areas of expertise are trauma, relational difficulties and emotion dysregulation, with both adults and adolescents. I am also passionate about working with parents of children and adolescents with mental health difficulties or presenting with challenging behaviour.
