Areas of interest

I have worked for the NHS for over 10 years as a specialist psychologist. I have experience of working in secure services and community services with a variety of client groups. I have conducted assessments and interventions with males and females, adults, children and adolescents, with ages ranging from 7 - 60+ years old. I have extensive experience of working across different client groups presenting with difficulties including mental illness, learning disability, personality disorder, substance use and eating disorders. I have also been responsible for acting as an expert witness at Parole hearings.

I can practice a range of therapeutic models including not only Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) but also Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Analytical Therapy and Schema Therapy. My areas of expertise are trauma, relational difficulties and personality disorder, with both adults and adolescents.
