About me
Mr. Mark Lewis FRCS (Tr. & Orth.) is a leading Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in all aspects of knee surgery and hip replacement surgery.
With over 17 years Consultant level experience, he has become one of the senior specialist knee surgeons in Wales. His focus is on sports related knee injuries and the problem worn out knee including partial and full knee replacement.
Mark performs among the highest number of successful uni-compartmental knee replacements on the UK National Joint Registry, with excellent outcomes, annd works with a multi-disciplinary team expert in rapid recovery after joint replacement.
He also treats numerous Professional and Amateur sportsmen with soft tissue and knee ligament injuries and has worked with several local and regional sports clubs.
Mark is interested in cartilage repair and biological solutions for treating appropriate joint surface cartilage defects.
As well as his extensive experience and expertise in knee replacement surgery he also performs primary hip replacement surgery.
