About me

I specialise in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal problems. This can range from everyday joint and muscle pain to complex sports injuries. Whether you're an elite athlete, a weekend runner, or simply want to stay active and pain-free, my aim is to get you back to doing what you love as quickly and safely as possible.

I use advanced musculoskeletal ultrasound to provide a clear and accurate diagnosis during your consultation. This often means we can plan your treatment straight away, without the need for extra hospital visits. I also offer a wide range of treatments including targeted injections, rehabilitation advice, and tailored management plans.

I commonly help patients with:
Sports injuries (muscle, ligament, tendon, cartilage)
Arthritis and joint pain (knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, etc.)
Tendon problems such as Achilles, rotator cuff, and tennis elbow
Back, neck, and groin pain
Recurrent injuries or unexplained pain affecting daily life

Alongside my private practice, I am also the only Sport and Exercise Medicine Consultant working within NHS Secondary Care in Yorkshire, based at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. I have extensive experience working in elite sport having worked in Premiership Football with Sheffield United, Super League Rugby, Championship Rugby, as well as supporting athletes at major international events including Commonwealth Games. My experience allows me to bring the latest approaches in sports medicine to all my patients- whether professional athletes or those managing everyday pain and injuries.
