Roshan was awarded the prestigious National Institute for Healthcare and Research (NIHR) Academic Clinical Fellowship allowing him to complete specialist training at esteemed institutions such as the UK Institute of Sport and the National Centre of Sport and Exercise Medicine in Sheffield.

Professional Experience:

Roshan has built an extensive career since 2013, working in elite sport and managing recreational sports enthusiasts alike. Currently based at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, he stands out as the only Sport, Exercise & Musculoskeletal Medicine Consultant within NHS Secondary Care in Yorkshire. His expertise has been developed through roles in various high-profile sports and major international events. These include, Commonwealth Games, Super League Rugby, Championship Rugby and the Premier League, where he served as club doctor for Sheffield United.

Academic Contributions:

In addition to his clinical work, Roshan is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at The University of Sheffield. His has made significant academic contributions with publications in scientific journals and chapters in medical books. He is also a dedicated tutor for post graduate qualifications in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at Brunel University, sharing his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of medical professionals.

Roshan's primary goal is to help patients return to the activities they enjoy, whether it's competing in ultramarathons or enjoying leisurely walks in the Peak District. His comprehensive approach to patient care ensures that individuals receive tailored treatment plans designed to optimise their recovery and performance.
