About me

I am a Consultant Dermatologist with over 25 years of experience. I worked at Rotherham for 17 years, followed by two years at Derby, and since 2019 I have been a Consultant Dermatologist at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

My main areas of interest include skin cancer and skin surgery. I also have a particular interest in the treatment of axillary hyperhidrosis with botulinum toxin (Botox), as well as the use of laser therapies.

I established and led the only NHS laser service in North Trent while working in Rotherham. Although I do not currently offer laser treatments in private practice, I provide expert advice on the suitability of laser therapy for a range of skin conditions.

In addition, I set up a specialist Botox clinic for the treatment of axillary hyperhidrosis at Rotherham and trained other healthcare professionals to deliver this service.

I have held several leadership roles, including Chair of the North Trent Skin Cancer Action Group, and I have contributed nationally as a member of the Skin Cancer National Peer Review Team. I am currently the Clinical Lead for the Dermatology Department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
