About me
I am a Consultant Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Surgeon with BOFAS fellowship training, currently practicing at Walsall Manor Hospital and the Little Aston Spire Hospital in Sutton Coldfield. My clinical focus is on both elective and complex foot and ankle trauma, alongside general orthopaedic trauma surgery. I am dedicated to delivering advanced, patient-centered care, with a particular emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.
I have an in-depth expertise in conditions such as forefoot reconstruction, ankle instability, ankle arthroscopy, ankle ligament repair, Achilles tendinosis surgeries, hindfoot fusions, and flat foot and pes cavus corrections. Additionally, I have experience with more complex conditions, including hindfoot reconstruction, Charcot reconstruction surgeries, salvage hindfoot surgery, procedures for failed surgical interventions, and neuropathic feet.
I am also an Educational Supervisor at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, where I am passionate about teaching. I actively engage in departmental teaching and play a key role in mentoring and training junior doctors and registrars. My commitment to education is reflected in my dedication to preparing the next generation of surgeons for the evolving challenges of modern foot and ankle surgery.
I take a scientific approach to patient care and am diligent in collecting patient-reported outcome measure data (PROMS) to monitor and improve my outcomes. Additionally, I pride myself on being an excellent team player, always eager to take on new challenges and continuously improve the functioning of the departments I work in.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy personal challenges and adventure, having trekked the Annapurna Circuit in the Himalayas and currently preparing for a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in July 2025. These pursuits reflect my commitment to personal development, teamwork, and resiliencequalities that enhance both my professional approach and patient care.
