About me
I am an experienced Counselling Psychologists with over 20 years of Clinical work in the voluntary sector and NHS, including consultation and supervision. My roles included working to support the development of Clinical and Counselling Psychology trainees. I have led on the provision of Psychological Therapies to treat Trauma and Depression.
I am a competent, engaged Psychologist working collaboratively to treat a range of Adult Psychological difficulties including Anxiety, historical Childhood Trauma, Depression, loss, not belonging and Interpersonal relationships. I am also interested in working with those struggling with Employment due to ableism, health condition and physical disabilities. An individual may seek Therapy to express a sense of loss, emptiness or intense discomfort. Through the process of emotion focused Therapy, the individual is supported to work towards helpful emotional experiences by expressing them safely. This strengthens the self and regulates affect
