About me
I have been a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon since 2004. I trained in Liverpool, the South-East and the West Midlands before taking up my consultant post in Hull. I relocated to Morecambe Bay in 2018.
My NHS work consists mostly of the diagnosis and surgical treatment of breast cancer, and breast reconstruction following surgery for breast cancer. In the private sector I also do cosmetic breast surgery.
I have been involved in developing the new RCS England guidelines for csometic surgery and have published and presented my work on fat transfer both in the UK and internationally. I receive referrals from across the UK for fat transfer and for revision of reconstruction after mastectomy. I teach on a Royal College reconstruction course for consultants and senior trainees.
I undertake voluntary work every year in Pakistan, where I treat local women and train local nurses and doctors.
