About me

I am a Consultant General Surgeon specialising in gallbladder and gallstone surgery, hernia repair and advanced endoscopy (ERCP). I see private patients at Spire Murrayfield Hospital and Spire Shawfair Park Hospital in Edinburgh, offering rapid access to consultation, diagnosis and keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery.

I also hold a substantive NHS post as a Consultant Liver Transplant Surgeon at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, where I am also Clinical Lead for the Edinburgh National Organ Retrieval Service and Programme Lead for the Edinburgh Transplant Surgery Fellowship � experience that underpins the safe management of complex biliary and gallstone disease.
