About me
I am a registered dietitian with over 20 years experience working in the NHS.
I am a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA), HCPC, BDA maternal and fertility nutrition specialist group and the European Fertility Society.
I qualified from the University of Ulster Coleraine in 2001 and have gained immense experience in many clinical areas throughout my time working in the NHS.
For the last eight years I have specialised in pregnancy and pre-conception and have advanced training in diabetes, fertility and pregnancy nutrition and am a certified prenatal and certified fertility dietitian.
I have had my own personal experience of going through fertility treatment for a number of years and felt there was alot of misinformation around fertility nutrition which can lead to additional stress on an already very emotional experience.
A critical part in preparing for pregnancy is focusing on nutrition. I use evidenced based nutrition and lifestyle advice to help to optimise various aspects of fertility, including egg quality, sperm quality, implantation, miscarriage, PCOS and endometriosis. These changes can help whether trying to conceive naturally or preparing for fertility treatments including egg freezing.
I am driven to provide an enhanced service that is evidence based, safe and tailored to each clients unique circumstances.
