About me

Counselling Psychologist based in West Sussex, specialising in compassionate, embodied and targeted approaches to wellbeing, bringing a warm accepting down-to-earth flexible style to therapeutic work with you.

Drawing mainly from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), compassion focused therapy (CFT), person-centred approaches, and trauma physiology. Additional training in somatic movement therapy (DMP) also allows a greater focus on body awareness and mind-body connection.

Initial sessions focus on developing a shared understanding of your challenges, strengths and goals, at your pace. Sessions may look like reflection, listening and exploration, and at other times can include coping tools and strategies, as we work towards further insights, healing and growth.

Experienced in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and burnout, relationship and family issues, long-term conditions, neurodivergence, highly sensitive people/sensory processing sensitivity, LGBTQIA+ communities, cultural and racial experiences, fertility and perinatal experiences, amongst other concerns.
