About me
Dr Vincent Cheung is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. His clinical interests are in cancer immunotherapy gastrointestinal adverse events, inflammatory bowel disease and advanced endoscopy. He is accredited as a Bowel Cancer Screening colonoscopist and leads the weekly IBD surveillance multidisciplinary team meeting. He leads a tertiary GI liaison service for immune-related adverse events managing patients from the Oxford Cancer Centre and other regional centres. Having graduated from University of Cambridge, he completed medical training at King's College London. He subsequently trained in London and Oxford, and completed a fellowship at the Royal Free GI Neuroendocrine Tumour unit. Dr Cheung completed research in immunotherapy-related GI and liver adverse events at Oxford and published this work in Gastroenterology, Gut, British Journal of Cancer and Frontline Gastroenterology. Research interests include IBD surveillance and immune checkpoint inhibitor colitis. He is a sub-investigator on a number of IBD clinical trials at the Oxford IBD Clinical Trials' Facility.
