About me
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, working with adults and young people over 16 on a one-to-one basis. I am qualified to Masters level. My training encompassed three modalities of therapy; Person Centred, Attachment Theory and CBT. This allows me to personalise therapy to suit the needs of my client and as part of my assessment process we would discuss your preferences for therapy.
I have particular specialisms in working with traumatic bereavement or loss and with birth trauma but I also work with a wide range of other presenting issues.
The quality of the therapeutic relationship is consistently found to be the most important dynamic affecting therapy outcomes and I aim to bring my whole self into the therapy room, offering a warm, authentic connection so my clients feel deeply heard and fully accepted. This helps to facilitate a safe, supportive and occasionally challenging space for the hard work of therapy; addressing issues, finding patterns and connections; exploring how the past may be informing responses in the here and now and facilitating change.
