About me
I was qualified as MUDr doctor from Comenius University in Bratislava in Faculty of Medicine back in 1998 and completed my post graduate training in Cardiology in AHEPA, University Hospital at her birth town Thessaloniki of Greece, back in 2012. I have a GMC full registration as a medical practitioner with licence to practice since 2011 and as Cardiology specialist register since May 2013. I was initially appointed as Cardiologist at Cardiothoracic Centre of Essex at Basildon and since September 2017 she has a substantial Cardiology Consultant post at Colchester.
Areas of interest
My practice covers the whole spectrum of adult cardiology including chest pain, breathlessness, heart failure, high blood pressure, murmurs, blackouts and palpitations with a special interest at cardiac imaging. I am accredited in transthoracic echo, trained on advanced echocardiography including Dobutamine stress echocardiography, transoesphageal echocardiography, peri-operative TOE and 3D echo and she is also accredited to access CT scanning of the Coronary Arteries to assess patients with chest discomfort or to evaluate patients cardiac risk.
