About me

I am a fully accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist (CBT) with the BABCP and a registered mental health nurse with the NMC, qualifying from Kings College London in 1999. I have worked across forensic, in-patient and community mental health settings both nationally and internationally. I am highly skilled at delivering evidence-based psychological interventions to adults with common mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety and complex mental health problems such as psychosis and bipolar affective disorders.

I completed my MSc in CBT from the University of Nottingham and my Enhanced CBT for Psychosis and Bipolar at University of Oxford. I am an experienced CBT therapist and supervisor and work as an Assistant Professor and Fellow of Higher Education at the University of Nottingham. I continue to teach and supervise trainee CBT therapists and offer a small private CBT practice. I am married with two children and a cockerpoo called Daphne.
