About me

Hello, I'm Noah.

I worked in emergency medicine within the NHS for 13 years before I was drawn into talking therapies because I found supporting people in their mental health challenges extremely rewarding.

I have worked for patients on secure units around Manchester as well as counselling in cancer centres, bereavement services, within mental health charities and in higher education.

I work in an integrative way combining compassion focused therapy, mindfulness-based approaches and solution focused brief therapy - however, person-centred therapy is my foundation.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process where skills are tailored to suit each unique client finding what works for them and what doesn't! Therapy is not a one size fits all and I believe it involves looking at all aspects of someone's life.

I aim to create a relaxed and non-judgemental space to support you in making autonomous decisions.

I am a BACP accredited therapist, have facilitated therapeutic groups and am currently working on my PhD thesis in psychotherapy.

I am an accredited 'Pink Therapist' meaning I have an interest in gender, sexuality, identity and relationship challenges but work with people from all backgrounds presenting with a range of mental health challenges. I am a clinical supervisor, yoga and meditation teacher.

Areas of interest

Anxiety; Stress; Depression; Sexuality; Gender; Abuse; Survivor of a narcissistic parent; Spirituality; Loss and Bereavement; Relationship Issues; Lack of purpose; Identity; Work stress; Transitions; and more.

I work with adults 16 and over.
