About me
Alice Boyd has undergone comprehensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Alice is also registered with BUPA to provide CBT.
For the last eight years, Alice has been helping her clients with their mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, generalised anxiety, Obsessive and Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), panic disorder, health anxiety, social anxiety and other difficulties with trauma. Ultimately her aim to help her clients meet their chosen goals and to gain the tools and strategies that will help them move forward in their lives feeling confident.
Alice draws on a range of evidence-based approaches including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and aspects of Schema Therapy. Treatment typically takes six to twelve weeks.
Alice is currently available to work with adults and young people aged 14 and over from our Stirling clinic and online.
