About me
Dr. Nikolaidou is trained in general cardiology and has specialist interests in cardiac imaging, heart valve disease, and heart failure. She worked as a Consultant Cardiologist with subspecialty in imaging from 2016 to 2018 in Greece, and as an Imaging Fellow in Oxford from 2018 to 2022. She was appointed as an Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at the University of Oxford in November 2022, and as Consultant Cardiologist at Gloucestershire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in May 2023.
She has level 3 accreditation in cardiac computed tomography (CT) and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), with extensive experience in Greece and in the UK at the Oxford University for Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Research.
Dr Nikolaidou has a Master's degree in Health Care Management and a Ph.D. in Cardiac Imaging, investigating the role of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging in patients with cardiac arrhythmia.
She has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at local and international congresses, and has participated in many clinical studies.
