About me
Mr Karan Jolly is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon with a specialist interest in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery. He works within the NHS at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and offers private consultations at HCA The Harborne Hospital and Circle The Priory Hospital in Birmingham.
He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2011 and has focused his career on surgery involving the head and neck. Fascinated by the detailed anatomy of this area, he chose to specialise in rhinology and skull base surgery.
Mr Jolly completed his specialist training in the West Midlands, which included 18 months dedicated to skull base surgery. He then undertook further fellowship training in Vancouver, Canada, at the St Paul's Sinus Centre and Vancouver General Hospital. There, he worked on complex inflammatory and skull base cases, gaining valuable experience in a tertiary referral setting.
He has developed advanced surgical skills and has a strong interest in improving care through research. Mr Jolly has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents his work at national and international meetings. His research has been recognised with a national medal from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Mr Jolly is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients. He combines up-to-date knowledge, technical expertise and a careful, considered approach to treatment planning.
