About me
Prof Baker specialises in the treatment of hip and knee conditions requiring joint replacement surgery including osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis, avascular necrosis and post traumatic arthritis.
He performs knee replacement surgery including partial, total and revision knee replacement procedures and hip replacement surgery including cemented and hybrid total hip replacement procedures. He performed MAKO robotic assisted knee replacement surgery.
Prof Baker is the current national lead for knee revision surgery. He specialises in knee revisions and the treatment of prosthetic joint infections. He also treats lower limb trauma and specialises in the treatment of periprosthetic fractures around the hip and knee.
