About me
Dr Fawzi trained at St George's University Hospital, completing his registrar training in February 2018 within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex deanery.
He has been a substantive consultant since at Ashford and St Peter's Hospital, where he has both led the respiratory department and specifically been the departmental lead for asthma, COPD, pleural disease and interventional respiratory medicine, including pleural, bronchoscopy, EBUS and medical thoracoscopy.
Dr Fawzi has expertise with all aspects of general respiratory medicine including cough, asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, undiagnosed breathlessness, pulmonary embolism, lung infections and lung cancer. He also has expertise in the associated diagnostic tests such as lung function, sleep studies, radiological imaging, bedside thoracic ultrasound, pleural procedures, bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound and medical thoracoscopy.
