About me

Hello, my name is Colin and I am Accredited Person- Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist working in Private Practice in East Kilbride (near Glasgow).

In addition to my work in Private Practice I am also a school counsellor based in a large comprehensive in the West of Scotland.

Along with my professional counselling qualifications I believe that my years of life experience add great value to my Counselling Practice (including six years as a Samaritans volunteer).

In my practice I work with adults and young people (12+) who may attend therapy for many reasons

As a school counsellor I see how important it can be to have counselling support for young people who may be struggling, which unfortunately is not something available to all school pupils.

I am available for face to face counselling on a Wednesday (including evening) and Saturday morning.

Additionally I offer online counselling on both a Monday and Tuesday evening.

Areas of interest

As part of my Counselling practice I offer both face-to-face and online sessions to both adults and young people (aged 12+) and some of the areas I am passionate about are listed below:

Sexual Abuse; Suicidal Thoughts

Face-to-face sessions are carried out at my room in East Kilbride Village (South Lanarkshire), where there is ample parking space and also close to the main rail link to Glasgow and local bus station.
