About me

Hello, my name is Colin and I am Accredited Person-Centred Counsellor and a member of the BACP.

I have been in Private Practice for six years and also work as a school counsellor supporting young people.

In addition to holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy I also hold the COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate.

Prior to becoming a Counsellor I was employed in industry for many years in both union and management roles.

As a school counsellor I see daily the importance of counselling support for young people who may not have access to other therapeutic support services.

Along with my Counselling responsibilities I am a husband, dad, brother and friend.

Relationships are very important in my life and with my clients I work to build a therapeutic relationship based on trust, kindness and empathy in a compassionate, safe space.

I am available for both face-to-face and online counselling for adults and young people.
