About me

I have worked within NHS psychology services for over 4 years and as a Clinical Psychologist since 2022. I have experience working therapeutically with individuals across the lifespan, but I am specifically interested in working with adults. I have experience working with clients who are struggling with a wide range of emotional difficulties, as well as supporting clients to manage the impact of chronic health conditions.

I use evidence based talking therapies, mainly using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach but incorporate aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) to help develop a person-centred treatment plan. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

The therapeutic relationship is central to any psychological therapy and I focus on creating a safe and supportive environment in which to explore clients difficulties and help them develop ways of improving their wellbeing.
