About me
Mr Morgan Bayley qualified from Cardiff University in 2008, before completing Specialty Training in Trauma and Orthopaedics on the Welsh Rotation. He completed an MSc in Trauma Surgery in 2017, writing a dissertation which focused on complex knee injuries. He undertook the Trauma Fellowship in the University Hospital of Wales and the Knee Fellowship in the Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit. He was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Swansea in February 2021.
Mr Bayley's area of interest is knee surgery. He is passionate about joint preservation surgery, including ligament reconstruction, meniscal surgery, osteotomies and patello-femoral surgery. Additionally, he performs knee arthroplasty (replacements) including all forms of partial knee replacements. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), British Association of Surgeons of the Knee (BASK) and British Patellofemoral Society (BPFS).
