Outside clinical practice, Dr MacKenzie enjoys spending time with his wife and young family and walking the family dog.
Areas of interest
Whilst I practise across General Dermatology, my principal areas of expertise include:
Dermatological Surgery: including excisions, shave procedures, punch biopsies, curettage, electrodesiccation and cryosurgery, where clinically appropriate.
Skin lesion assessment and management: assessment and management of suspected skin cancers and benign skin lesions, including moles, cysts, warts and skin tags.
Medical Dermatology: assessment and management of a broad range of medical Dermatology concerns, including acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis, as well as more persistent or treatment-resistant inflammatory skin disease. Oral isotretinoin/Roaccutane may be considered for acne where clinically appropriate.
