About me
Tazmin is a Registered Dietitian and a mother of two, residing in London. With over ten years of experience, she specialises as a Prenatal & Paediatric Dietitian, supporting women with nutrition through preconception, pregnancy, and beyond. She has a particular interest in conditions like gestational diabetes, focusing on balancing blood sugars and optimising diets for women's health as well as their babies' development and growth.
Tazmin's professional journey includes both freelance work and employment with the NHS. While her freelance endeavors primarily revolve around pre and postnatal health, in 2023, she transitioned from an Adult Specialist Diabetes Dietitian to become a Paediatric Specialist Dietitian within the NHS. This role enabled her to offer continuity of care to her clients. As a Paediatric Dietitian, she focuses on neonatal care and support for children dealing with diabetes, difficulties gaining weight, weight management, and nutritional deficiencies.
Her dedication to prenatal nutrition and infant feeding stemmed from her own experience during her first pregnancy in 2019. This inspired her to establish her private practice and become a breastfeeding peer supporter.
Beyond prenatal nutrition and infant feeding, Tazmin possesses extensive expertise in various other nutritional areas, including high cholesterol, IBS, weight management, nutrition support, coeliac disease, and vegan/vegetarian diets.
Tazmin also on the committee for the British Dietetic Association Maternal and Fertility Group. Additionally, she volunteers in local feeding clinics to support mothers navigating the journey of feeding their babies.
Outside of work, Tazmin often cherishes moments with her two young children, savors meals at delightful restaurants, experiments with cooking and baking, enjoys the occasional run, and immerses herself in nature during foraging adventures.
