About me

Hello, I am Jenna, a Clinical Psychologist and EMDR Therapist based in Newcastle upon Tyne with a particular specialism in working with individuals who have experienced relationship difficulties, trauma and complex trauma. I offer a holistic approach to trauma healing that considers the emotional, physical, and social factors impacting on mental health, wellbeing and relationships.

Areas of interest

I am passionate about empowering individuals to find ways to make positive changes to their lives and heal from past trauma, and am able to adapt my approach based on your specific needs. I find it important to listen to someone's story and to help them make sense of the difficulties they are facing.

I work with adults and young people (age 15-18). I work with all traumatic experiences from childhood trauma to more recent trauma and have extensive experience working with military veterans. Some clients I see may have diagnoses of anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex PTSD, personality disorders or experience low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, eating difficulties or addictions.

I often use an integrative approach drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Internal Family Systems and EMDR therapy.
