About me

I qualified as a doctor in 1996 from Mumbai, India and have worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in India as well as in the UK (since 2008).
I am accredited in General Adult Psychiatry and Rehabilitation Psychiatry; working in both the Community setting for the NHS and in my private clinic in Sheffield.
I have a considerable teaching experience and am a Hon Clinical Lecturer at University of Sheffield.
I am a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych), & also a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych). I am an Approved Clinician/Section 12 doctor in terms of the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007).
I am experienced in preparing medico-legal psychiatric reports for the courts and other agencies.
