About me

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and qualified EMDR practitioner working towards accreditation.
I have been practicing for 20 years. Since 2006 I have worked with emergency services, specifically Police officers and staff. I have also worked in the NHS for 10 years seeing clients in GP surgeries.

Areas of interest

Much of my working life has been spent helping emergency services staff to process and cope with the impact of traumatic events, work related stress, other issues that caused by working in front line services.
I also have experiences working with adults presenting with a broad range of mental health difficulties including those relating to trauma (including complex PTSD), depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties, bereavement etc.
