About me

My name is Matt and I am a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and supervisor.

I have over 10 years of experience working as a CBT therapist predominately in the NHS. During my time in the NHS, I lead a team of CBT therapists offering clinical supervision to trainee and qualified clinicians. I currently work full time in private practice and am happy to offer virtual or face to face sessions

I have received additional training in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Long term physical health conditions and Trauma Focused Cognitive Therapy.

Therapy is not a 'one size fits all', I will tailor the support to your needs and goals in order for you to make meaningful changes in your life. I appreciate that it can be difficult to reach out for therapy so I will aim to provide you a safe and compassionate space so that you feel as comfortable as possible.

I abide by the policies and ethical standards laid down by the BABCP and I have full professional indemnity to work as a therapist in the UK.
