I have been a practising Consultant Cardiac Surgeon for 15 years.
I trained in the UK and and have worked in both the USA and Australian Health care systems.
I have been involved in Cardiothoracic Surgery education and professionalism and teach on National and International courses.
I have jointly led the development of a number of new procedures at Derriford Hospital including TAVI, endoscopic vein harvesting and a minimally invasive AF surgery.
