About me
Dr. Milan Anjanappa is a consultant clinical oncologist at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in London. He obtained his primary medical qualification in India. He worked as a clinical fellow at the Christie Hospital in Manchester prior to joining Mount Vernon. He has been a full time NHS consultant working in the uro-oncology group since 2021.
Dr. Anjanappa believes in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach. He works with a fantastic team of surgeons, expert radiologists, and oncology colleagues to offer evidence-based treatment. He supports patients in a shared decision-making process and places equal emphasis on both outcomes and quality of life.
As a clinical oncologist, Dr. Anjanappa offers comprehensive cancer management, including radiotherapy and systemic anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal therapy). His specialist expertise lies in the management of prostate cancer. He offers IGRT, SABR/SBRT, seed brachytherapy, and high dose rate brachytherapy. Additionally, Dr. Anjanappa also treats bladder cancer and offers bladder preservation treatments with radiotherapy.
Dr. Anjanappa participates in research studies and actively enrols patients in national and international clinical trials. He has given talks at various national societies and has presented papers at conferences.
