About me
me
In a society that often asks us to stay strong and cope quietly, reaching out for support can feel like a big step. You may be coming to therapy because life feels overwhelming, confusing, or no longer sustainable as it is. I offer a calm, supportive space where we can slow things down and begin to make sense of what's going on for you, together.
I'm a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with a professional background in Social Work and almost ten years' experience working in mental health services. I began my career in NHS acute mental health services, supporting people through periods of significant distress and crisis, before going on to work within NHS IAPT services and private practice.
While CBT is the foundation of my training, my work is integrative and relational. I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), mindfulness, somatic influences, and elements of schema therapy. I'm less interested in fitting people into diagnostic boxes and more focused on understanding your lived experience, what has shaped it, and what feels most important to you now.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety (including panic, OCD, and phobias), depression and low mood, PTSD, sleep difficulties, ADHD (including post-diagnostic support), mental health difficulties linked to long-term health conditions, and periods of transition or identity change. I have a particular interest in neurodiversity and regularly support adults who are newly diagnosed with ADHD.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. My priority is to offer a space where you feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood, where you don't have to edit yourself and where all parts of you are welcome. Therapy with me isn't just about reducing symptoms, but about helping you move towards a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with what matters to you.
