About me
Ravi is a consultant specialist hip and knee surgeon that offers bespoke care to every patient. He has trained at some of the leading centres in the world and looks to utilize his skills to offer a patient-centred and data-driven approach, tailoring each plan to the individual.
Ravi read medicine and completed his surgical training in London, completing a postgraduate research doctorate at Imperial College London in 2021.
He has subsequently received further specialist training in sports injuries in high-level athletes, partial knee replacements and complex joint reconstruction, including the use of robotics, at leading centres in Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom.
His high-volume elective NHS practice is based in St Albans where he leads the Daycare Arthroplasty and Robotic Joint Replacement programmes.
Ravi has published extensively in medical text books and journals, has presented his work internationally and continues to actively engage in research focused on joint replacement, surgical technology and innovation.
Away from medicine, Ravi and his young family live on the outskirts of London and he now channels his enthusiasm for sport into coaching local sports teams for his sons.
