About me

Hi, my name is Lucy Sumner, I'm a fully qualified Counsellor and NCPS accredited, BICA registered provider of Integrative therapy in Warrington, Cheshire.

Do you struggle to talk to friends and family and need to talk to someone who has been through it and understands? I'm passionate about helping those going through miscarriage, baby loss, TFMR (termination for medical reasons) and infertility to feel more understood and supported. I have over 7 years experience of helping clients, and my private practice is online by teams and by phone (I call you).

I love what I do and feel privileged that clients trust me with emotions so private that they may never have spoken to someone else about.

Person centred or talking therapy- you will find empathy, understanding and a safe space to let your thoughts out, without judgement from me, to process what you are or have been going through.

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) If you decide you want to look at coping skills and exploring anxieties then we will look to use CBT techniques.

Psychodynamic theory - maybe past experiences are influencing current behaviours? This is something we can look at through the psychodynamic therapy model.
