About me
Steve graduated from Guy's, King's & St Thomas' Medical School in 2005 and completed his higher specialist training in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgery in the Wessex region in 2020. During his training, he undertook a PhD focused on nasal polyp disease, publishing over 50 peer-reviewed papers. His research has been recognised with several prestigious awards, including a Royal College of Surgeons Research Fellowship.
Since 2020, Steve has been a full-time Consultant ENT Surgeon at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. He manages the full range of general ENT conditions and has a sub-specialist interest in sinus and nasal disease. He has particular expertise in complex sinus conditions and works closely with the Respiratory team to manage difficult upper airway diseases using advanced Biologic therapies. He also collaborates with the Oculoplastic team, jointly running the Lacrimal Service for both adults and children with tear duct disorders.
In addition to his NHS practice, Steve offers private consultations at Medicana Winchester and Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. He also serves as the Medical Director at Medicana, overseeing clinical governance and contributing to the strategic development of high-quality patient care.
