About me

I am a Senior Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) and supervisor with over 20 years' experience of working in Mental Health (NHS). I qualified as a CBT therapist in 2005 and completed further training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy) in 2017. I continue to work in the NHS alongside my private practice. I have extensive knowledge and experience of treating depression & anxiety disorders with a particular interest in treating trauma (PTSD), Perfectionism & Low Self-esteem.
I treat a whole range of anxiety problems such as Worry, Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety, OCD, Body image Difficulties, Phobias, Perinatal Anxiety, Stress & Sleep difficulties.

I use a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in therapy and aim to make therapy a safe space to explore and work on your difficulties. The treatment is tailored specifically to you and your goals and is collaborative at every step of the treatment journey. All treatment is evidence based and recommended by the NICE guidelines. Being a member of professional organisations such as the HCPC and the BABCP means I adhere to their standards of conduct, performance and ethics.
