About me

Professor Maud Lemoine, a Consultant Hepatologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and head of the Digestive Disease Division at Imperial College London, has a broad range of interests and expertise in the field of Hepatology including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic liver disease.
She is known internationally for her research, especially on viral hepatitis. She received her undergraduate education from the University Pierre & Marie Curie in Paris, France and underwent Hepatology training in Paris. She also completed a MD in in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and a PhD on pathophysiology of metabolic liver disease in Paris University, France.
In 2011, she joined Imperial College London as a research clinical fellow and was appointed as clinical senior lecturer in 2014 and full Professor of Hepatology in 2021.
She extensively published in diagnosis and management of chronic liver diseases and she serves as a scientific adviser of various international and national scientific committees in Hepatology.
