About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with more than 16 years experience working in NHS Child & Adolescent Mental Health services across Scotland.

I am passionate about delivering high quality care for children, young people and adults with neurodevelopmental conditions, with my particular area of interest being Autism. In my NHS clinical work I am fortunate to be involved in both CAMHS and Autism Assessments Teams, and have been for many years.

I studied for my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Glasgow and over the years I have developed my skills with extensive specialist training in Autism Assessments (ADOS), Neurodevelopmental Disorders, EMDR and Family Therapy.

Since qualifying I have worked in NHS Greater Glasgow, NHS Tayside and NHS Fife as a Principal Psychologist with a key role in the development of Autism Assessment services.

I have always particularly enjoyed offering Autism assessments and working with people to reach a greater understanding of neurodiversity. In recent years I have developed more specific interest in Female Profile Autism presentations and the specific skills needed for these specialist assessments.
