About me

I am a registered Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I have worked in the NHS as a senior psychologist in community, hospital and forensic settings. I am trained in a range of evidence-based therapies providing the most effective, evidence-based intervention to meet your individual needs.

My approach is integrative and pragmatic. Depending on our focus and what fits your needs and preference, I use techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy.

I specialize in helping clients develop a deeper understanding of their emotions, equipping them with practical tools to manage emotions effectively and cultivate positive relationships with themselves and others.

Ive had the privilege of being a partner in growth and change for clients presenting with a wide range of difficulty and severity. I provide a safe and compassionate space to help you develop insight and skills specifically to meet your daily needs.

Psychology is my passion and vocation. It is a dynamic and evolving field. Alongside therapy, I continually develop my therapeutic knowledge and skills. I also lecture and provide training in the field.
