About me

Welcome, my name is Ania. Im a registered and accredited psychotherapist and a counsellor. I offer short-term and long-term counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups.

I am an experienced clinical practitioner, having worked with clients within the NHS setting and my private practice. My background is in Psychology, and I was a member of the British Psychological Society for many years, before training as a therapist. My approach is integrative, I appreciate the uniqueness of each persons inner world and language and I adapt my way of working to meet their needs. I strive to create a new therapy for each client, to find the best way for us to work together.

I work relationally, focusing on building a relationship with my clients that itself becomes the agent of change. I am human and let nothing human be alien to me, I aim to remove obstacles to growth by offering genuineness, unconditional positive regard, and an atmosphere of accurate empathy, safety, professional holding, mutual trust, and nurturing attunement.

My psychotherapy training is rooted in transactional analysis and psychodynamic therapy, and my additional areas of interests are attachment therapy, relational trauma, body therapy and cognitive neuroscience.

My practice is based in a quiet, residential area of NW4 London. It is easily accessible by public transport and there are no parking restrictions.
