About me

I am a chartered and registered Practitioner Psychologist, as well as a certified Advanced Schema Therapist, and an EMDR Therapist. Since qualifying as a psychologist in 2014, I have worked in the NHS, criminal justice system, charity sector, and in private practice. I have primarily worked with people in various community settings, although have also got experience of working in psychiatric hospitals and prisons.

I have experience of working with adults with a wide range of difficulties relating to social, behavioural, and mental health difficulties, such as difficulties relating to low mood, anger, anxiety, self-critical thoughts, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. I have extensive experience of working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including childhood trauma.

I support people to explore and understand their difficulties, whilst also supporting them to achieve their own goals. I recognise the importance of proving a safe and non-judgemental space to those whom I works with, as well as working collaboratively to facilitate meaningful change.

I work in an integrative way, drawing on a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet the needs of the person I am working with. I mainly draws on Schema Therapy, EMDR Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), whilst also integrating skills from other relevant approaches.
