About me

As an experienced person-centred, integrative therapist, I work with adults, couples, and adolescents. I specialise in working with depression, stress and bereavement. I also work extensively with people who are, or suspect they may be, neurodiverse.

People often want to talk to friends or family about their struggles, yet embarrassment or shame can be a barrier. If you have a sense of being stuck and not knowing where to start, then I will enable you to feel comfortable and safe, so you can explore your difficulties and how you currently cope.

If you cope in ways that worry you, perhaps by self-harming, substance misuse or pushing yourself too hard, that can feel scary and overwhelming. If you experience suicidal ideation, this can also feel extremely uncomfortable to share with those closest to you. If you need to explore any difficult emotions or thoughts, we do this together in a calm, safe manner. I am confident in safeguarding & safety planning, plus I can help you find new coping strategies.

I offer a professional, yet down-to-earth therapeutic relationship, where we can work together on the issues that have led you to seek therapy for yourself, you and your partner, or your child. I offer a compassionate, safe space to talk - without fear of judgement. I acknowledge it can be challenging to trust someone with your innermost fears and worries; it can feel awkward or even painful. Yet therapy can offer you an opportunity to grow, to gain insight and to feel empowered to make changes or to accept yourself more genuinely.
