About me

I am a BACP accredited counsellor and have supported clients for 18 years. My main approach to counselling is integrative and relational which means that I help you to explore your relationship with yourself and others to understand your difficulties. Within this context we can explore the areas in your life which you wish bring to counselling and find ways forward that fit with your needs and wishes. I am trauma informed and incorporate aspects of trauma theory and solutions focussed therapy where this is beneficial to the work.

I work mainly with women and teens, and have extensive experience in managing services and teams in addition to supporting mental health charities as a clinical supervisor. I see clients for individual counselling sessions online via zoom.

As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I work in accordance with their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I have insurance for personal liability and professional indemnity and an enhanced DBS.
