About me

As a Clinical Psychologist my job is to listen with compassion to your life story and help you make sense of any troubles or trauma that you are facing within your life, whether that be in your present or reoccurring from your past.

I will strive to support you to feel comfortable during therapy, by creating a safe and supportive environment where you can work at your own pace and be heard without judgement.

Psychological therapy will be tailored to suit your strengths, needs and goals. I can help you to create an emotional toolkit to reduce the impact of painful thoughts and feelings and support you to live a values-based meaningful life. The toolkit could include skills such as: identifying patterns in the way you think, feel or behave; emotional regulation and distress tolerance; mindfulness and/or improving relationships.

Starting therapy takes courage and it may feel daunting given that talking openly about your distress may evoke feelings of vulnerability. The therapeutic relationship is often the vehicle for positive change so finding the right fit is important. I offer an introductory 15 minute call for you to decide whether I am the right fit for you.

Areas of interest

I work with teenagers and adults who are neurotypical or neurodivergent.

I have a special interest in supporting people who are struggling with the impact of trauma and/or who have ADHD and or Autism.

I have done extra training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Specific conditions that I support are: Trauma; Anxiety; Depression; Low self-esteem
