Mattia is adaptable, passionate, and person-centred in his approach. He draws on a range of models, including Existential Therapy, Metacognitive Therapy and Trauma Focussed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, to support adjustment and coping with the effects of neurological and health conditions. He also supports people who struggle with trauma, anxiety and depression.
Mattia's interests are wide and varied. He works as the Head of Psychology in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre and as a Clinical Neuropsychologist within the Neuropsychology team in Southmead Hospital.
